Amicis Tours & Travel Books

Wine Country At Work

Tour Guides, Speakers, Storytellers, Authors and Media Producers. We produce the top selling wine tour and travel books in Napa and Sonoma. We speak to visiting groups and our current welcome speech is From Frontier to Frontrunner. It is the amazing story of how this region went from being considered the 'ends of the earth' to the famous destination it is today. our Talks!
We produce the show Wine Country at Work for TV, Radio and Podcast. Click Here to see the current shows!

Our Wine Tours

Our tours focus on wine, food, education and stories and getting you there safely. This area has spectacular views, beautiful gardens, art collections, farm to table meals and great gift shops. But the tours are built around your interests and normally include two to three wineries and lunch. Since most wineries require appointments we prefer to make the schedule, so the day flows gracefully. Do you have favorites, or do you want our suggestions? We tour in Napa and Sonoma. Lahni handles reservations and Ralph drives the tours for up six guests in our Lincoln Navigator. Licensed by the California PUC, TCP#31301 and commercially insured. Click Here for More!

Wine Country at Work TV, Radio and Podcast

We started producing the TV show Wine Country at Work at Napa TV in 2012 because we were amazed by the beauty of the place and the remarkable nature of the industry. We do most of the shows on location. In 2025 we started also producing the radio show of the same name at KSVY in Sonoma, so we could do more interviews. It is a lot easier to get people to sit down for a conversation when there is no camera running. But we enjoy doing both formats. With that weekly content we started our Podcast which you hear below. Our Tour & Travel Books

We backed into writing tour books because the original project was about winery buildings as part of our design series. Then we realized there were no 'wine tour books' even though wineries are the big draw here, so the project morphed into our tour book in 2007. Today we offer three formats because visitors have different needs, and we update every couple of years because things keep changing and we readers to current information. Our story series came from tales we've heard during many, many tours, and they are basis of our talks about local history and this remarkable industry. Click Here for More!
