This is one of the 20 or so wineries in the Stags Leap district at the south eastern corner of the Napa Valley. This is a wonderful, small family-run winery tucked into a southern facing hillside, surrounded by some of Napa's most famous labels. They have great caves, a charming tasting room and a very loyal wine club and clientele. They do wonderful events, mostly in the caves, and the tasting room/building has some interesting features. If you see any redheads, that's probably a member of the family.
From here, you can easily visit the Silverado Vineyards, Pine Ridge, Robert Sinskey and of course Stag’s Leap. These are great folks with wonderful connections in the area. Wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir. They are by appointment and being small, and wanting to do a good job for their guests, they really like it when you call ahead. However, the drive is usually open, so call them at the last minute and see if they are pouring. AWG Rating 84
