Ralph & Lahni de Amicis, Napa, Sonoma, San Francisco
This is a popular destination for visitors from the Bay Area. During the winter season buses of school children arrive here to see what is possibly the most historic spot in California. It was the 21st , most northern and final Mission, an Official Pueblo or city, a Presidio or Fort (it is the only city in California with those three distinctions) and the site of the Bear Flag Rebellion where California became an independent republic on June 14th 1846. It is also the largest Plaza in California, about nine acres and surrounded by restaurants, markets and shopping.
