This beautiful winery sits on the top of Spring Mountain. It is made up of rolling hills that enjoy spectacular views and produce great wines. They also have one of the best picnic areas around that they make available to their customers. They are by appointment so don’t bother making the trip there without one. Allow 25 minutes to drive from downtown St Helena. It is a very steep, winding road, so go slow and open your windows so you can hear around the corners! The buildings are beautiful inside and out, the caves are neat, they have a few gifts (including the ‘I survived my drive to Pride Mountain Tee shirts) and they do tours by appointment. The staff is great! Wines: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Viognier, Chardonnay. AWG Rating 91
