This modern building sits above the road surrounded with lavender flowers and gardens on the Silverado Trail just south of Yountville Crossroad. When you enter the high vaulted space, you enjoy the aromas coming from the commercial kitchen in the back corner. One of the owners is a well known chef and cook book author and this winery has some of the best bar snacks in the valley. They have a delightful working garden that supplies the kitchen planted around the winery and a great patio with lots of seating.
Their caves are behind the winery and are used for special events. They have a great collection of food related books and some nice gifts and they do some interesting wines. This is a fun place that draws a younger crowd. It is a Biodynamic/Organic winery. Wines: Pinot Blanc, Rosé of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Vin Gris of Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Late Harvest Zinfandel. AWG Rating 89
