They are a family-owned and run winery. Their Hillside Select is a world famous wine that comes from the beautiful canyon that you drive through on the way to the winery. As you drive north on Silverado Trail they are on the right side.
There is no sign, just a number. They expanded their hospitality center and it is spacious and light-filled. They are one of Napa’s great ultra-premium producers and a wonderful family. In a recent competition between the best of Italy and the USA, their wine won top honors.
Their tastings are by appointment and take place sitting down in a lovely conference room with glass walls that look out over the vineyards. The tasting is admittedly expensive but worth it for the enthusiast. Plan ahead when making your appointment since they have a limited number of slots. Wines: Chardonnay, Cabernet, Blends.
