Vine Cliff Winery, A Yountville Jewel from the Napa Valley Wine Tour iPhone App
This is a jewel of a winery in its own canyon just off the Silverado Trail, north of the Yountville Cross Rd. They have beautiful gardens and gorgeous caves that are part of the tour. They do a very good tour that starts in the barrel/tasting room. They have a great staff and excellent wines. They are often open to last minute appointments, but their reputation is very good and so it is better to plan ahead. Their gate is normally closed so either call ahead or call from the gate and hope that they can see you. Wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot. AWG Rating 92
